What does BSOLID need from ME to get started on my website?

BSOLID will need any content (text/images in digital format) from you that you want on your website. We will also need you to provide us with a digital copy of your logo. If you do not have a logo or are not happy with your logo, BSOLID offers graphic design and we will work with you until you are 100% satisfied with the logo that will represent your company.

I know a guy that makes websites. Why should I choose BSOLID?

Anyone can "make" a website, but BSOLID offers so much more than a great looking website. Our developers are trained in marketing techniques to create calls to action that "hook" people to your website. And a great website is worth nothing unless people searching on the web can find it, we also offer varying levels of search engine optimization and search engine marketing.

Once the website is done, can I edit the text on it?

BSOLID offers a Website Management software and training package that will allow you to make changes/updates on your website. If you are not comfortable with making changes yourself, call us and fill out a work order. BSOLID will be happy to make any changes for you (depending on the amount of work involved there may be a charge).

I do other kinds of advertising, why do I need a website?

Having a website will work together with your other methods of advertising, reinforcing the professionalism of your business. It also shows your clients that your business is not going to be left behind in the ever growing world of technology.

What will a website do for my business?

Websites can offer convenience depending on their functionality. Free up your phone lines by having a list of Frequently Asked Questions on your website, or offer a "Book Appointment" feature on your site. How soon can I expect results on the search engines?

Your website will start appearing on the search engines after it has been found and indexed by a search engine spider (Googlebot, for instance). Although the wait period varies, it is safe to say that the spider will visit your website somewhere between 2-4 weeks after it has been launched, although in some cases websites get indexed within the first 7 days of being live.

How can I check my e-mail if I am traveling?

You can check your personal e-mail from anywhere in the world through BSOLID's WebMail interface. It looks and feels very much like a popular mail service provided by Hotmail, GMail or Yahoo. To log into your WebMail, type in your website address followed by a forward slash and the word webmail: http://www.yourwebsite.com/webmail and enter your full e-mail address for your username and password when prompted. Choose one of the three WebMail applications to use upon successful login.
